One Adelaide, Australia, resident or visitor may be walking around a millionaire without even knowing it.
Only recently, The Lott confirmed that a ticket purchased in Adelaide holds the single division one winning entry for Powerball's drawing 1545, drawn on Christmas Day.
The single winning ticket nationally was purchased at Colonnades Lotto Kiosk, Shop KI104, Noarlunga Centre at 54 Beach Road in Noarlunga Centre.
The winning numbers for the Powerball 1545 drawing from Thursday, December 25, 2025, were 7, 23, 29, 20, 11, 16 and 17, while the Powerball number was 17.
Considering that the winner holds the single division one winning entry nationally, they are entitled to the entire prize of AU$20m ($13.4m).
In a press release, Matt Hart, a spokesperson for The Lott, spoke about the latest Powerball prize win.
"Our elusive winner is likely oblivious to the fact they became a multi-millionaire on Christmas Day," the spokesperson said.
Moreover, Hart said that The Lott encourages everyone who purchased a Powerball ticket for that particular drawing at the Colannades Lotto Kiosk to check their tickets.
"Just imagine how exhilarating it would be to discover you won a prize of this magnitude on Christmas Day! Your plans for the New Year and beyond could be upgraded instantly," he added.
Last but not least, Hart explained: "Make sure you check your tickets, and if you discover you are holding the winning ticket, contact The Lott on 131 868 to begin the prize claim process."
Interestingly, the lucky winner may be unaware that they won a life-changing prize.
This is because the Powerball division one winning entry wasn't registered with The Lott Members Club.
Had the winner registered their ticket and connected it to their player card or online account, an official from The Lott would have already contacted them to notify them of the big win.
Instead, the lottery is now waiting for the winner to come forward and file a claim.
