The world’s largest lottery games company, Scientific Games, continues its successful partnership with the Arizona Lottery.
Earlier this week, the former announced that it has agreed to deliver a new suite of systems technology, supercharging the Arizona Lottery’s sales operations.
Under the terms of the alliance, the lottery operator will benefit from the Scientific Games’ Momentum ecosystem, including its leading retailer management system and central gaming system.
Per the agreement, the Arizona Lottery will streamline its operations while bolstering security.
Notably, the new technological upgrade, powered by Scientific Games, seeks to improve the player experience and refresh the Lottery’s classic draw game lineup.
Ultimately, the deal is also expected to help retail partners of the Arizona Lottery succeed.
Changes that will impact the Arizona Lottery’s draw games including an upgrade on The Pick with the addition of not an automatic multiplier on every single play, as well as improved overall odds of winning.
What’s more, a brand-new instant win add-on called The Pick PLUS will also be added.
The Arizona Lottery will add a daily midday drawing for its Pick 3 game, while delivering an all-new Pick 4 game that has midday and evening drawings.
Further changes include the addition of an add-on that grants Powerball players a chance to win up to $10m called Powerball Double Play.
This add-on effectively delivers a separate drawing after the initial Powerball drawing for a chance of life-changing prizes.
John Schulz, Scientific Games’ President, Americas and Global Instant Products, spoke about the new alliance, Casino Guru News learned from a press release.
"As the Arizona Lottery's systems technology partner since 2015, Scientific Games is focused on readying the Lottery for long-term sustainability through advanced systems and software, and exciting new products that engage players and drive proceeds to the good cause programs that benefit Arizonans," he said.
Alec Thomson, the Arizona Lottery’s Executive Director, was similarly delighted.
"Our teams have been working hard behind the scenes with the Scientific Games teams, and we are thrilled to see this project come to life," he said.
Moreover, Thompson pointed out: "The changes to our draw games will give our players bigger value, more ways to play and even more chances to win."
Finally, the executive acknowledged that the new, advanced technology from Scientific Games positions the Lottery well for further growth.
