If you have ever doubted that gaming and betting giantStake is determined to scale its global footprint while prioritizing ethics, just consider the company’s decision to launch into Denmark, one of the world’s most tightly-regulated and player-protection focused markets.

Stake set to launch in one of Europe's most regulated markets

Stake is now officially a licensed brand in the Nordic market, with a five-year license that will allow it to bring its casino and sportsbook offering locally.

The brand has developed a reputation for highly original gameplay, boosted by the very best providers in the industry, along with innovative game titles such as exclusive games and the novelty traffic betting CCTV game developed by 155.io.

Stake Denmark is now preparing to launch on March 1, 2026, entering yet another highly-regulated and player-focused market, bringing world-class experiences to the market.

Commenting on the opportunity, Easygo’s Chief Strategy Officer - the parent company of Stake, Brais Pena had this to say: "Denmark marks our entry into the Nordics and represents a clear win in one of Europe’s most mature and high-value markets. With each new market, our momentum continues to build as we deliver on our global expansion strategy."

Increased competition will drive the Danish market forward

Stake Denmark Managing Director Peter Eugen Clausen has welcomed the opportunity to bring the Stake brand to local audiences.

"With Stake’s arrival, Danish players can expect a fresh, world-class experience backed by global scale and strong local focus. We’re raising the bar in terms of product, transparency, and entertainment, and I believe increased competition from brands like Stake will only drive the market forward in a positive way," Clausen explained.
