Carsten Koerl, Sportradar's CEO and Founder, was recognized as the winner of a prestigious award last week. On Friday, Koerl was named the EY Entrepreneur Of The Year 2022 in Switzerland. The company's boss achieved the famous award in the category "Service and Commerce."
The famous consulting and auditing firm EY has supported the world-recognized awards since 1986. The unique innovative program Entrepreneur of The Year recognizes significant achievements from leading entrepreneurs. The latest recognition comes after an independent panel of judges selected Koerl. Sportradar's CEO and Founder was recognized for his strong leadership role and ongoing focus on growth as well as rich competencies within the industry. At the same time, the panel of judges recognized him for his entrepreneurial spirit.
In a statement released on October 28, 2022, Koerl shared his excitement by saying: "I am incredibly honored to win this prestigious award." He added that he is excited about the award and will celebrate it with the entire team at Sportradar.
