The inaugural SPiCE Sri Lanka 2023 event to be held next week on July 26 - July 28, 2023, will be one of the most significant industry gatherings in the South Asia region. The event will bring together hundreds of delegates interested in understanding the local gaming industry better as well as overseas experts who are keen to establish business in the region and tap into the region’s brimming potential.
The event is now less than a week away, says Eventus International, which hosts the gathering with an agenda full of prominent speakers who will deliver keynotes, participate in discussions, and generally help broaden local understanding of the industry. Among the people attending are: Gnana Shekar (CMO, Skyesports), Anutosh Chatterjee (CEO, Revenue Street), Navneeth Srinivas (Founder, Metamine Gaming), and dozens of others.
There will be abroad range of discussions featured during the three-day event, including on matters as Sri Lanka’s Gambling Regulatory Authority and Responsible Gambling, Responsible Gaming: Legal Perspective, Growth Potential for New Entrants in the Market, Capitalizing on the International Sporting Scene: Live Sports Betting Popularity, Exploring Esports Partnerships in Sri Lanka, and South Asia, and so much more.
These panels and the discussions built around them will help the local and South Asian gaming industry start shaping up in the years to come. SPiCE Sri Lanka 2023 is also an opportunity for industry experts to network and establish a strong rapport with potential business partners, local specialists, and even regulatory representatives. This comes at a time when Sri Lanka has moved forward with a Regulatory Authority of its own to ensure that consumers enjoy the best and safest gaming options possible.
A huge emphasis will be placed on the importance of regulated gambling markets and why regulating the industry holds significant benefits for countries, businesses, and consumers.
Among the benefits of a regulated market are sustainable market growth and economic development, better player protection and financial safeguards, building consumer trust and fostering customer loyalty, and more.
Registrations for the event closed earlier this week, with the event now heading into preparation for launch. More information about the event hosted at Ramada by WyndhamColombo in Sri Lanka can be found on the official website.
