Clarion Gaming has confirmed that the ICE World Gaming Forum will be joined by none other than acclaimed Joe Kaminkow, the game designer behind International Game Technology and Aristocrat’s biggest blockbusters. Kaminkow will be one of the headline speakers at the Casino & Leaders Conference set to take place on January 20, 2025.

As a designer, Kaminkow is an outstanding individual with an enviable track record, having secured 150 patents throughout game design, operations, and networks, and he has helped develop or contributed to more than 1,500 games in the industry.

Kaminkow is joining an interesting selection of headliners, among whom is Vicente Fox, the 62nd President of Mexico and Akhil Sarin, CMO of Stake and Kick along with more than 100 speakers who will be attending the event.

Kaminkow, who serves as Chief Innovation Officer at Aristocrat, will talk in front of a diverse audience who is interested in building better products in the industry, and who can learn from his experience. Kaminkow has secured the licensing rights to such blockbusters as Batman, Star Trek, Sex in the City, Game of Thrones, and Wheel of Fortune.

Apart from his keynote, Kaminkow will also be a part of a field of brand experts, among whom is HASBRO, with a particular focus on building stronger relations with Millennial and Gen Z players across both the digital and land-based sectors.

Clarion Gaming’s Senior Conference Producer Damien Ashton-Wellman was excited to see Kaminkow join the World Gaming Forum.

"He has been inducted into the Pinball Hall of Fame, the American Gaming Association's Hall of Fame, the Licensing International Hall of Fame, the Coin-Op Hall of Fame, the Amusement Expo International’s Hall of Fame and the EKG Hall of Fame, as well as being named a ‘Top Ten Most Influential Person in Gaming’ by Strictly Slots Magazine," Wellman added.

Wellman spoke about Kaminkow’s experience, including the 1984 smash hit game Space Shuttle, the license for which was secured from NASA. Wellman also hailed Hellman as the perfect person to be part of the keynote address, as he is the embodiment of the convergence of gaming and entertainment.

The upcoming edition of the event is hoping to improve on its 2024 track record, which saw 1,210 senior decision makers from 79 countries join in, along with 621 operator C-level, and 87 global CEOs, plus 72 national and regulatory bodies, along with seven government ministers.
