The SPiCE Southeast Asia 2025 is now less than a week away, with the event set to take place on August 13-15, 2025, at The Landmark Bangkok.

The event will reunite some of the regional leaders and introduce them to a rewarding experience across the board, which will address hot industry topics such as digital finance, compliance, regulation, and resort planning.

Day one will kick off on August 13, 2025, with the SPiCE Breaker Welcome Reception, which will offer the opportunity for powerful networking and set the tone for the rest of the event.

The first day is meant to break the ice, as it were, and help delegates socialize so that they can tackle and address hot topics while offering their expert insight, honest opinion, and unfiltered analysis about key industry matters.

On day two, held on August 14, 2025, there will be more worthwhile discussions taking place, including frameworks, foresight, and practical next steps into important subject matters. SPiCE Southeast Asia has outlined some of the steps as follows:

  • The real economic impact of casino legalization
  • How crypto is reshaping cross-border payments and compliance
  • Safer gaming and smarter regulation
  • What it takes to market responsibly in a fragmented landscape
  • Diversity as a driver of business performance

The keynote will be held by Mary Mendoza, who will be joined by panelists Calvin Lim, Jared Valarao, Priya Ahlawat, and John Ross Calderon.

Dr. Amy Remes will pitch on the next-gen lottery solutions that are currently reshaping the sector, while Nicholas Levenstein will talk about a practical framework that can help evaluate and grow a business.

Heading into day three, held on August 15, 2025, the event will focus on how legalization how combat illegal gaming, if AI can truly drive operational efficiency in the land-based sector, and how companies can address risk.

A solo session by Shaun McCamley, there will be a closer look at Vietnam’s shifting regulatory landscape, and a discussion about the country’s gaming potential. Wrapping it all up, there will be a hands-on workshop by Riaan van Rooyen, who will talk about designing integrated resorts and the value therein.
