SOFTSWISS set to present findings, showcase tech at SiGMA Africa 2026

The company’s Head of Regional Growth, Miranda Guliashvili, will be among the speakers, while the company will also have a presence on the exhibition floor.

SOFTSWISS has been interested in expanding further afield in the regulated African market, with South Africa in particular becoming the backbone of these regional efforts.

South Africa alone has tripled in value since 2022, highlighting its high potential and ongoing momentum. Commenting on the upcoming gathering, Guliashvili had this to say:

"We see strong long-term potential in the African iGaming market, which is now entering a more mature phase of growth. As regulatory frameworks evolve and operational requirements become more complex, the focus for operators is shifting from rapid market entry to building resilient, scalable business models."

Guliashvili is also among the speakers for the "Sports Betting Product, Odds, and Local Market Fit" at 15:30 - 16:00 on March 4, 2026.

SOFTSWISS has also been looking to help flesh out the African market by investing in research and market analysis, helping the company better understand the untapped potential of the region.

Among the studies released by the company is the South Africa: iGaming Market Overview 2025 report, which highlighted the maturity of the region’s digital betting ecosystem.

The findings in the report were further built upon in the 2026 iGaming Trends Report by SOFTSWISS, which leverages local findings against the broader global context.
