Soft2Bet selects David Yatom for General Counsel

The casino and sportsbook platform provider, Soft2Bet, announced a senior-level appointment. Strengthening its regulatory, legal and compliance team, the company confirmed Thursday it hired the services of the online gaming industry expert David Yatom.

Joining Soft2Bet, Yatom was appointed to the role of General Counsel. He brings an extensive experience within the online gambling vertical. Moreover, Yatom has experience as a corporate, commercial and regulatory legal consultant.

In his role as General Counsel with Soft2Bet, Yatom will oversee the company's compliance and legal initiatives. At the same time, he will ensure that the company continues to execute its expansion strategy by focusing on growth within new, as well as existing markets. Yatom is expected to play a pivotal role in Soft2Bet's corporate and commercial strategy as well.

Before joining Soft2Bet, Yatom was a part of the award-winning sports betting product provider, SBTech where he held the role of General Counsel. After that, he played a key role in the business combination agreement of the company with Diamond Eagle Acquisition and DraftKings. Following that process, Yatom was appointed to the role of senior director of legal at DraftKings.

Commenting in a statement released on March 23, 2023, Yatom said that it is thrilling to become a part of Soft2Bet. He explained: "During its relatively short time of operation, Soft2Bet managed to position itself as a key player in the online gambling industry."

Yatom commended the dedicated professionals that are a part of Soft2Bet and acknowledged that they help push the company forward and allow it to grow within the online gambling vertical. "I strongly believe in the company’s unique product, technology and innovative capability," he added.

The CEO predicted that the new General Counsel will help with strategic guidance and contribute to the company's legal advisory services. Finally, Poliavich noted: "He understands the core values of Soft2Bet and will lead our presence in the industry."

The latest appointment comes on the heels of another announcement by Soft2Bet. Late last month, the company introduced content from Octoplay under the terms of a new partnership. As a result, titles from the leading online casino games provider have gone live for Soft2Bet clients in Europe.
