Scientific Games and Arkansas Lottery extend successful partnership

• Scientific Games and the Arkansas Lottery have put pen to paper on a new eight-year partnership
• The former agreed to continue to power the latter with its instant game management program and upgrade the Arkansas Lottery's loyalty program
• The new agreement brings excitement to both Scientific Games and the Arkansas Lottery

The world's largest lottery games company, Scientific Games, will continue to provide its industry-leading services to the Office of the Arkansas Lottery.

Only recently, the two inked a new eight-year partnership agreement that will see the latter continue to increase the proceeds to higher education in Arkansas by leveraging the former's instant game management program, the Scientific Games Enhanced Partnership.

The Arkansas Lottery will continue to drive proceeds for education

The Arkansas Lottery and Scientific Games first joined forces back in 2009 when the former was established.

Thanks to this collaboration, the Lottery launched more than 800 instant games and used the leading services and technologies from Scientific Games.

A testament to the success of this partnership is the fact that the Arkansas Lottery recorded $480m in retail sales in 2024 alone.

On the other hand, since the two joined forces in 2009, to date, the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery has contributed more than $1.5bn to Arkansas students, awarding more than 822,000 scholarships.

While the Lottery will continue to benefit from the Scientific Games Enhanced Partnership instant game management program, it will also maintain its player loyalty program, The Club.

The Arkansas Lottery was the first US state to launch a full digital loyalty program. Since that launch, to date, the loyalty program has had more than 386,000 members.

Under the terms of the new deal, Scientific Games agreed to upgrade The Club, enabling the Arkansas Lottery to deliver achievement-based loyalty options, while also improving the mobile app and other features.

The instant game category is significantly important for the Arkansas Lottery

John Schulz, Scientific Games' President Americas and Global Instant Products, spoke with excitement about the new agreement, Casino Guru News learned from a press release.

"We're honored to be a trusted partner to the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery since its beginning. With instant games representing more than 81% of the ASL's total sales in fiscal year 2025, the instant game category is an extremely important product line for its proceeds to scholarships," he explained.

Moreover, Schulz pointed out: "Together, we'll continue leveraging data-driven instant game innovation, portfolio management and supply chain efficiencies to drive player engagement, modernize retailer operations and ensure the Lottery's future success for Arkansas college students."

Sharon Strong, the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery's Executive Director, spoke about the importance of the alliance with Scientific Games that has been successful since day one.

"Working with Scientific Games through this new agreement, ASL will be able to provide more scholarships and offer even more engaging scratch game products and more innovative features to our thriving loyalty program," Strong added.

Late in October, Scientific Games agreed to power the North Dakota Lottery.
