Loto-Québec, the Quebec government-owned gaming and gambling corporation, selected the leading retail and digital games, technology and services provider, Scientific Games, as the provider of its new central gaming system.

Scientific Games' innovative gaming system replaces Loto-Québec's legacy system

Following a competitive procurement process, Scientific Games was designated as the best-suited candidate to supply the new gaming system and overhaul Loto-Québec's offering.

As a result, the former will deliver its advanced central gaming system via its Momentum ecosystem, which is an integrated framework of technologies, services and applications designed in a way to optimize lottery performance and operate seamlessly.

Thanks to the launch of Scientific Games' innovative central gaming system, Loto-Québec's legacy system will be replaced.

This is expected to boost significantly the performance and security of Loto-Québec's digital and retail networks.

At the same time, the contributions to good cases are expected to increase.

Earlier this month, Scientific Games agreed to overhaul Lotto New Zealand's retail and digital operations.

Before that, the company expanded its successful agreement with the Georgia Lottery.

Per that alliance, Scientific Games agreed to elevate the lottery's retail operations with the deployment of its SCiQ product.

The company is thrilled to expand its collaboration with Loto-Québec

Marc-André Doyon, Scientific Games' Regional Vice President of Operations, spoke with excitement about the latest agreement with Loto-Québec, Casino Guru News learned from a press release.

"Our Montréal facility has a long history of collaboration with Loto-Québec. Our employees in Montréal are ready to take on this new opportunity," he explained.

Moreover, Doyon pointed out: "For decades, Scientific Games has produced more than 4,500 instant scratch games for Loto-Québec, including its very first scratch game."

John Schulz, Scientific Games' President, Americas and Global Instant Products, added that the company is thrilled to expand its successful business relationship with Loto-Québec by becoming its central gaming systems provider.

The executive highlighted that the duo's collaboration spans more than five decades.

"Our advanced system is engineered for the future, delivering the performance, security and operational efficiencies that will support Loto-Québec's sales and sustainability," Schulz said in conclusion.
