The highly anticipated SBC Summit is continuing to release details about what to expect next from the event, as the date of the actual gathering is drawing near. One of the highlights of the upcoming industry exhibition that is due to reunite more than 30,000 delegates will be the Global Markets Stage.
Taking on some of the most important topics and discussions during the event, the Global Markets Stage will conclude with a focus on the North American sports betting and iGaming market at a time of dynamic changes, and stakeholders repositioning, entering, or even exiting the regulated gambling landscape in the region.
The Global Markets Stage wrap-up will be taking place on Thursday, September 18, at the Feira Internacional de Lisboa, and Global Markets: North America will be wrapping up three days of market-focused content, which will similarly touch on Western Europe, Latin America & Brazil.
Commenting on this, SBC Founder and CEO Rasmus Sojmark had this to add: "North America may be a maturing market, but it remains one of the most commercially important regions for sports betting and iGaming. With regulatory progress slowing in key states, new market entrants are turning to alternative betting models to maintain momentum and explore fresh opportunities."
Sojmark added that the Global Markets: North America part of the Global Markets Stage is designed to specifically aid businesses in reading into the regulatory landscape and help identify growth markets, as well as what challenges are still present.
The track itself will not shy away from some of the most pressing industry-related topics. Among the panels and speakers to expect are the following:
US Leaders Panel: Sweeping the States - The Rise of Alternative Betting
Sweepstakes Boom – Sustainable Growth or Short-Lived Trend
Other similarly important panels will include the Social Side of Betting – Peer-to-Peer, Gamification & Community and Tribal Gaming: Blurred Lines or Commercial Collaboration?
These discussions will similarly pivot towards exploring the present-day realities of sports betting and iGaming in the United States, Canada, and beyond, addressing the rapidly shifting developments of the past months.
