Hands on experience
  • SBC Summit Malta 2026 is building upon the success of the 2025 edition, bringing more value-added opportunities
  • The event will focus more on practical and hands-on experience with dedicated workshops throughout the entire second day
  • SBC Summit wants to evolve the industry format, shifting away from simply being at an industry exhibition to actively engaging and learning from it

SBC Summit Malta 2026 is going to feature a change of tack, which will prioritize hands-on experience, as the final day of the exhibition will focus on workshops exclusively and offer delegates the opportunity to learn practical skills.

The event is due to return at the InterContinental Malta on April 28-30, and the event hosts are expected to welcome more than 6,000 senior executives, offering vast networking and other value-added opportunities.

The 2026 edition is building upon the success of the previous iteration, the inaugural SBC Summit Malta 2025.

What is different this time around is the "dual-structure program," which will focus on both theory and discussions and mix them with real-world applications. This is done to shift away from the standard industry model, which focuses on "presence" to one that also pays attention to involvement.

The event will begin with strategic discussions and progress to a full-blown day of workshops afterwards. The program will focus on three main pillars, including Marketing, Product, and Compliance & Regulation, with Rasmus Sojmark, SBC’s Founder & CEO, welcoming the agenda for the upcoming event:

"At most industry events, people talk about presence. ‘I was there,’ they’ll say. We want to shift that thinking a bit and focus on participation, not just showing up and listening."

The Marketing Unplugged track will feature high-profile insiders from Google, Meta, and TikTok, followed by The CEO Chat Show, which will offer even more insights from some of the industry’s leading figures.

Day Two will then proceed with Marketing in Action workshops, hoping to incorporate in practice the ideas pitched by high-profile industry leaders and bring them to life.

The Product Visionaries and Product in Practice tracks will focus on sports betting and iGaming, with Day One focusing on discussions around gamification, crypto casinos, and niche sports, while Day Two once again takes a more hands-on approach and invites delegates to join various workshops.

Last but not least, the third stage of the SBC Summit Malta will be dedicated to European regulation and compliance. The opening day will pay particular attention to cybersecurity in iGaming, fintech, and to preventing fraudulent payments, and discussions around tax reforms. Day Two will then proceed with the customary workshop focused on navigating the regulatory complexity and remaining aware of the evolving landscape.
