SBC Summit Latinoamérica is gearing up for the upcoming gathering that will take place on October 31November 2, 2023, at the Seminole Ball Room, Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, Miami.

As the date and time of the event are now set, SBC has been dropping more details about the upcoming industry get-together, with the latest tidbit to slip through the cracks the Leaders conference track which will bring together some of the industry’s most remarkable and well-versed specialists.

Among the companies that will be part of the Leaders conference track are such names as Better Collective, Vibra Gaming, Entain, Betcris, and Betway to name a few. There will be discussions that impact the entire Latin American market, which is now fast evolving, and especially so in the recent passage of a sports betting tax law in Brazil, one of the region’s most significant markets.

Commenting on the event and the new track, SBC Founder & CEO Rasmus Sojmark hailed the significance of Latin America and the impact having familiar knowledge with local markets could have on businesses:

"The Latinoamérica region is currently experiencing an exponential amount of growth and development, providing a variety of learning opportunities for delegates. By securing expert speakers from local and international brands, and regulatory bodies, we hope to equip attendees with the right knowledge and strategic thinking to make a meaningful impact in the region."

Among the key discussions that are part of the Leaders track is "LatAm Leaders: A New Crucible For Innovation In Gaming And Sports Betting" which will reunite a host of specialists, to wit:

  • Gonzalo Perez (CEO, Apuesta Total)
  • JD Duarte (CEO, Betcris)
  • Juan Jose Mantese (VP LatAm, Meridianbet)
  • Xabier Maribona (CEO, Grupo Retabet)

Then, there is the "Cross-Border Collaboration: Regulatory Re-Alignment Across Latin America’s Gaming Markets" which will feature another trio of well-seasoned industry professionals:

  • Cecilia Valdes (Presidenta Ejecutiva, Chilean Association of Gaming Casinos)
  • Ida Lopez (President, Mendoza Lottery Institute)
  • Karen Marcela Sierra Hughes (Vice President, Latin America and Caribbean, GLI)

The "Responsible Gaming In Latin America: Technology As a Tool" panel will then reunite Lorena Castro, RushBet’s Compliance Director for LatAm, Javier Vargas, BettorView Chief Executive, Mariela Huenchamilla, the Responsible Gaming Manager at Dreams, and not least, Elizabeth Maya Cano, Cornazar’s Presidente.

SBC Summit Latinoamérica promise to be everything that delegates expect from an event that seeks to further professional understanding of the fast-evolving gaming landscape in the region.

Among the conference tracks featured are also Sports Betting Product, Affiliates & Advertising, Emerging Markets & Technology, Sports Teams & Media, Payments & Compliance, Lotteries & iGaming, and Player Protection.
