SBC Summit is about to get even more exciting as one of the seminal industry events held on September 24 and 26 will now feature exclusive masterclasses and free certifications that will help you hone your skills right on the event's floor.
Commenting on this new opportunity, SBC Founder & CEO Rasmus Sojmark has welcomed future guests of the event, offering them a chance to master their craft with the special training sessions held at the Academy & Live Training area, one of the hottest parts of the Global Markets Lounge.
"This is an excellent chance for our attendees to make the most of their time at the show. Masterclasses of this caliber usually come at a significant cost, often over €1,000, so I strongly recommend anyone interested in these topics to consider joining us," Sojmark noted.
There will be numerous opportunities to find out more about the industry at the highest level, with sessions such as the Odds Compiling & Sports Modelling Techniques. The session will talk at length about mathematical theories and statistical models when it comes to odds compiling.
The session will go deeper into how odds are created and the theory behind this essential part of the sports betting industry. The session will be held on Tuesday with Sportsbook Training Services Founder Jonathan Smith.
On Wednesday, attendees will have the opportunity to attend a practical demonstration which will cover an English Premier League game, offering an actual chance to see how the industry works when it comes to some of its most important cogwheels.
For those who attend looking for an edge when it comes to marketing, the Tuesday ElectronicGaming Player Expectations and Motivations will focus on just that. Attendees will have the opportunity to find out more about how businesses can assess player motivations – particularly in the casino sector and leverage this to build stronger marketing opportunities.
On Wednesday, the session will focus on Product and Price Considerations, diving into how slot machine configurations can affect earning potential, and the whole thing will wrap up with the Bet Based Promotions on Electronic Gaming Machines on Thursday, which will offer a further breakdown of game duration, volatility and return-to-player rate.
This session will be hosted by Lucien (Lucas) Wijsman, known for his involvement with The Slot Academy.
Yet another class that merits further examination is Counterterrorism, Crisis Response & Cybersecurity Masterclass. The session features Noel G. Whelan, who has a Master of Arts Degree in Counter-Terrorism and Security from Leeds University.
First off, there will be the Surviving the Corporate Red 10 session on Tuesday which will talk in-depth about leadership problems and high-pressure situations, building an emergency chain of command, and other facets of handling a crisis.
Then, there is the Deterrence Against Terrorism & Money Laundering session, which will further look at how to better prevent risks that originate in non-state factors and pose a threat to the digital economy.
Not least, there is the Avoiding the Victim State session which will similarly talk about defending companies against cyberattacks, understanding risk in this field better, and finding out more about existing vulnerabilities.
