SBC Events is excited to share more details about its upcoming industry event, SBC Summit Americas, which combines the SBC Summit North America and SBC Sumit Latinoamérica into one powerful gathering.

A mega-event dedicated to offering insight into Latin America and North America

Due to take place at the Broward County Convention Center in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, on May 13-15, SBC Summit Americas is set to be the most important regional industry gathering that will reunite the very best experts across numerous iGaming and gaming sectors and verticals.

To ensure that Latin America is well-represented, the SBC Summit Americas has dedicated an eponymous conference track, "Latin America" to address the market and its unbound potential. SBC Summit Americas will also feature a dedicated conference track for North America to make sure that it focuses on the two crucial regions.

Commenting on this reimagined gathering as well as the introduction of the LATAM track, SBC CEO and Founder Rasmus Sojmark had this to say:

"There’s still so much to learn about LATAM, and that will remain the case as regulations evolve and technology advances. A dedicated LATAM track is essential, allowing industry professionals to focus on regional trends and opportunities.

While some companies operate in both regions, many are exclusively focused on LATAM and will benefit from tailored discussions. That said, I encourage our LATAM audience to explore the North American tracks as well—there’s a wealth of knowledge to be gained from both regions, which is precisely why we unified these events."

The gathering will focus on helping stakeholders, especially those interested in the LATAM region gain a better understanding of the local dynamics and benefit from targeted market deep dives with leading experts and people with vast experience in navigating the complex regulatory and licensing frameworks the region has.

Ultimately, the goal is to help industry stakeholders to derive a better understanding of the region and spearhead their own businesses at a time of rapid growth, especially in places such as Brazil, but also well across the entire LATAM region.

The " Latin America" conference track will be held from May 14 through May 15, and offer a deep dive into pressing regional matters, helping interested parties to understand the regulatory and business climate and explore new deals and partnerships.

SBC Summit Americas addresses affiliate, regulation, and player protection

A fair part of the LATAM conference track will similarly address the industry-wide shift towards player protection and responsible gambling, with sessions dedicated to exploring the latest technological advancements that make possible an uncompromising approach to player safety. There will be more, of course, such as exploring effective gambling education, and understanding bettors’ consumer rights.

The gathering will naturally feature other interesting tracks, named the "Affiliate Leaders Summit" conference track, the "Player Protection Symposium’ conference track, and the "Leaders" conference track with all three paying attention to their respective focus topics in the broader context of the Latin American iGaming and sports betting industries.

In the meantime, SBC Events has also revealed the names of some of the notable participants in the Latin American-focused panels, including Beatriz Martorello (VP Legal Latam, Rush Street Interactive), Carlos Fonseca (CEO, Gaming Law), Cecilia Valdés (President, ACCJ), David Fica (CEO, LandVegas), Fellipe Fraga (Chief Business Officer, EstrelaBet), Iliana Pineda (Chief Legal Officer, Wplay), Julio Cesar Tamayo (CEO, WPlay), Laura Gago (COO, Betandeal), Maria Jesus Barreiro Roel (VP Legal & Regulatory Affairs, Betwarrior), and Karen Sierra-Hughes (Vice President, Latin America, Caribbean & Spain, GLI), alongside many more.
