As SBC Summit Americas prepares for its return on June 10, 2026, there is a lot that will be discussed. Both the United States and Canada, as well as the broader North American betting and gaming markets, are undergoing significant changes, with new rivals emerging at the same time and questioning the wisdom of mainstream and legacy business models.
This is why SBC Events is hosting the North America: Sports Betting & Casino conference track to help stakeholders garner the insight necessary to navigate these changes and address them head-on. However, the focus is not just on legal challenges, but also on the evolving casino content formats and future directions of verticals such as lottery and bingo.
Marketing and new betting formats will naturally be broadly discussed and addressed. Rasmus Sojmark, CEO & Founder of SBC, welcomed the opportunity to make this a reality, and said:
"Growth in North America isn’t just about launching new products, but also about ensuring those products are built responsibly, sustainably, and with a deep understanding of the regulatory environment. This track helps the industry explore how innovation and responsibility can advance together, not compete for priority."
The track will get underway with Lines, Limits and Loopholes: Protecting the Future of Sports Wagering, which will focus on discussing what safeguards need to be introduced in order to protect theintegrity of sports, which directly ties to businesses’ operations.
The panel will specifically talk about collaborating on devising stronger safeguards while also raising awareness for issues that undermine sports contests.
Another important session will be Clearing the Air on Sweepstakes: Navigating Regulation and Opportunity. This session will take a look at the complicated landscape for this business model, which went from a business model established in legal and historic precedent to a pariah on its way out of numerous bastion states.
UP next would be Designing the Future of Play: Creativity Meets Casino, which will talk about reshaping the modern iGaming experience and what we have collectively become accustomed to seeing in online casinos.
As per the official release, the session will: "The session will examine the features driving engagement — from more interactive experiences and smarter reward systems to the resurgence of classic formats — and unpack the mechanics behind longer play, stronger loyalty, and community-driven experiences."
At the same time, the entire conference is expected to attract a number of prominent industry insiders, all of whom will seek to contribute. Among the people attending and taking part are Mark Hicks, Managing Director, NCAA, Mike Silveira, Chief of Staff, Jackpot, Thomas Metzger, CEO, Lotto.com, and many others.
