As the SBC Summit North America draws closer and is set to take place on May 7-9, 2024, at the Meadowlands Exposition Center, New Jersey, the hosts at SBC have also revealed the shortlist for the SBC Awards North America ceremony, which will coincide with the industry exhibition.
Reuniting 5,000 delegates, 1,200 operators, 500 affiliates, 75 exhibitors and 300 speakers, the SBC Summit North America is a perfect place to celebrate and distinguish the success of individual stakeholders in the industry as part of the awards. The ceremony itself will take place on May 9.
Among the companies that have been nominated are OpenBet, which has been nominated across 8 categories, including the "Land-Based Betting & Gaming Product" and "Platform Provider of the Year" categories.
Sportradar and Betting Hero both have 5 company nominations each, and FanDuel, Better Collective and FeedConstruct have all received 4 nominations. When it comes to the Affiliate categories, you can expect to see companies such as
In the Operator categories, the list features companies such as BetMGM and FanDuel. Hard Rock Games, Choctaw Casino Resorts, Rush Street Interactive, and many others will try to put themselves on the "Social Gaming Operator of the Year" radar and beat the almost uncontested leader SciPlay.
In Operator & Supplier, there are Ontario Lottery & Gaming Corporation, IGT, EntainFoundation, and EPIC Global Solutions who will all be vying for the "Socially Responsible Initiative of the Year" award.
In the Supplier categories, there is again a serious field of competitors, among which are BraggGaming, Evolution, Low6, Sportradar, ScientificGames, Epic Global Solutions, IGT Play Sports, and Chalkline.
Additional companies, such as Oddin.gg, GeniusSports, SUZOHAPP, BetConstruct, and Optimove have been recognized across several categories as well. The field gets even more interesting with the Payment & Compliance Categories which will see the likes of Radar, Vixio, MindwayAI, GLI, ParamountCommerce, Trustly, and Nuvei.
The ceremony will also host its Rising Star Awards which will recognize up-and-coming companies that are set to disrupt the industry. The event will also feature Tribal categories, where Notawaseppi Huron Band of the Potawatomi Gaming Commission, Comanche Nation, Seminole Tribal Gaming Commission, and Snoqualmie Casino will try to secure the "Tribal Gaming Operator of the Year and Tribal Regulator of the Year" distinction.
"The Leader of the Year" award is another important fixture on the calendar, and it will see 14 companies compete for it, along with 13 companies trying to stand out as "Employer of the Year."
