SBC opens applications for SBC Awards North America

The SBC Awards North America is one of the most anticipated events for gambling operators, affiliates, suppliers and betting companies. The organizer of the event, SBC, announced Thursday that it opened the nomination process for the SBC Awards North America 2023.

Starting from January 12, the nomination process will be open until Friday, February 17, 2023. Following the submission period, expert judges from an independent panel are going to review the applications and compile a list of the companies that will be shortlisted. Those candidates are going to be announced on March 6, 2023, while the event itself and the winners are going to be announced on May 11, 2023.

The prestigious SBC Awards North America 2023 will take place in New York and the ceremony is scheduled for the final day of SBC Summit North America, a famous event for the gambling industry in the United States.

The SBC Awards North America 2022 attracted some of the largest gambling operators, affiliates, regulators and companies within the gaming industry. World-famous companies such as Entain, DraftKings, Caesars Sportsbook, BetMGM, Sportradar and Better Collective, to name a few, were among the winners of the SBC Awards North America 2022.

This year, the event organizer is expected to see 600 guests. The event itself represents a unique networking opportunity considering it gathers experts and representatives from the hospitality and gaming vertical.

Overall, there will be 30 different categories within the SBC Awards North America 2023, SBC revealed. The categories include Sportsbook of the Year, Casino Operator of the Year, Socially Responsible Operator of the Year, Rising Star of the Year and many other awards that are going to distinguish companies, affiliates and operators participating in the event. Besides the 30 award categories, three separate categories will celebrate Tribal operators, leaders and regulators as well.

He explained that the market continues to change and evolve, which means that this year, the SBC Awards North America will see proven leaders within the gaming industry, as well as new entrants.
