SBC continues to drop more good news as the organization is now hosting its fifth SBC Football Championship which will take place on Tuesday, September 2022. The event will happen before the registration and networking drinks for the SBC Summit Barcelona industry gathering.

The event will be held at a venue where the likes of Ronaldo, Neymar, and Messi have played and where the industry’s top people will have an opportunity to face off in a friendly game. The venue itself is quite formidable. RCDE Stadium is home of Espanyol, a La Liga team. It has a capacity of 40,000 seats and is the eighth-largest stadium in the Spanish A-tier league.

But the SBC Football Championship 2022 is seldom about settling rivalries as such. Rather, it’s a great opportunity for industry stakeholders to expand their network, meet up with friends and colleagues and enjoy a great game in a friendly environment in a bid to strengthen the bonds that make the entire industry spin.

SBC Football Championship has naturally thought about giving attendees a worthwhile challenge. SBC is fielding its very own team as well, which will be helped by former Spain midfielder Gaizka Mendieta.

The event will feature 20 teams comprised from within the betting and gaming industry. There will be numerous participants in the event which has managed to elicit great interest among stakeholders who are all-systems-go about the upcoming football mini-tournament, brief as it is going to be.

Companies such as Oddschecker, IMG Arena, KaFe Rocks, LiveScore Group, MaximBet, Catena Media, Betcris, Coolbet, Entain Group, Dafabet, and Fortuna Entertainment among others are all going to join in the race and have the opportunity to establish themselves as the ultimate leaders in the gambling industry football community.

Commenting on this opportunity in an official press release shared with Casino Guru, SBC Founder and CEO Rasmus Sojmark said: "This tournament is a dream come true for many football fans. Last year's Championship at Stamford Bridge was full of friendly banters and a great opportunity for all the players and supporters to network and exchange ideas between the matches. This year, we decided to bring the tournament to Barcelona to kickstart our global event on a positive note."
