SBC Awards nominees for SBC Summit Barcelona revealed

Just as is SBC Events’ custom, the SBC Awards will be part of one of the biggest industry expos out there, the SBC Summit Barcelona. SBC Events released a shortlist of the nominees who will vie to convince the jury and peers that their products are indeed some of the best out there and that they deserve the distinction.

Overall, there are 45 categorywould-be winners who will attend the ceremony but who they are will become known at the Palau Nacional in Barcelona, a well-picked venue that reflects the magnitude and importance of the event. There will be 1,000 people in attendance at the ceremony with the SBC Awardsgala proving the crowning jewel of the expo.

SBC has already emailed a list of the shortlisted candidates, with Sportsbook Operator of the Year category already shortlisting a number of familiar names, including Novibet, Sportsbet.io, VBET, 10bet, BetssonGroup, FanDuel Group, Kaizen Gaming, LeoVegas Group, and so many others.

Another category of interest could be the Rising Star in Sports Betting, which once again features excellent brands such as LiveScore Bet, 10Bet Africa, recently-established lifestyle brand-turned-bookmaker MaximBet, and so many other worthwhile additions to the overall lineup.

The change in the date of SBC Awards, though, has not been random. Back in April, SBC Founder & CEO Rasmus Sojmark said that SBC Events has done extensive consultation with their partners and decided that the best possible course of action would be to move the ceremony to align with the actual summit in Barcelona.

"The decision has also enabled us to select a uniquely memorable venue in the Palau Nacional, which will help us to deliver a great evening for our 1,000 guests. With the ceremony coinciding with what will be our largest ever Summit with 6,000 delegates, Barcelona will become the center of the betting and gaming industry for a week," Sojmark continued.

Picking the venue and bringing hundreds of worthwhile nominees has not been easy, but it reflects on SBC Events’ tirelessness in providing the industry with one of the most prominent events out there.

Meanwhile, the event will feature a number of excellent panels and discussion opportunities through the Sports Betting Zone, the First Pitch incubator, and not least, the C-level panels that will shed more light on industry-altering developments.
