SBC Awards 2024 announces shortlists

The SBC Awards 2024 shortlists have just been revealed with companies competing across a number of categories at the upcoming ceremony. The winners in each of these pivotal and industry-defining categories will be revealed as part of the SBC Summit, the event due in September.

As to the ceremony itself, it will be held on Thursday, September 26 at the MEO Arena, on the final day of the inaugural SBC Summit, which is a reimagined format for bringing the industry’s best and brightest in one place. Casino Guru, the world’s leading authority and database on online casino gaming, has also been nominated in the Casino Affiliate of the Year category.

More notable nominations include those of BetssonGroup and SOFTSWISS, with each of the companies winning eight nominations. EveryMatrix and OpenBet have each won six nominations in the meantime.

Companies such as Genius Sports, BetConstruct, Sportradar, Campeón Gaming and Soft2Bet have each amassed five nominations. Overall, there are 38 categories across several main verticals that companies are competing in.

Betsson Group is looking to secure the Marketing Campaign of the Year and Innovation in Casino Gaming Entertainment awards, and it’s similarly attempting to take on Kaizen Gaming in the Casino Operator of the Year award.

In other categories still, Betsson Group is going up against bet365 for the Best Affiliate Program and Sportsbook of the Year awards, too.

Meanwhile, the Payment & Compliance categories feature a range of companies, among which is OKTO, Monnet Payment, Pay4Fun, and more, with these companies vying in categories such as Fraud & Compliance Solution of the Year, Payment Solution of the Year, Payment Innovation of the Year, and more.

Amusnet, PragmaticPlay, Playson, ELA Games, and Pascal Gaming have won nominations for Casino/Slots Developer of the Year category, and The Sportsbook Supplier of the Year category will see 14 industry heavyweights try to prove to the jury that their offer may as well be the best.

The SBC Awards 2024 also feature four new Rising Star categories, dedicated to nurturing and encouraging innovation within the sector. Among those are the Rising Star in Casino, Rising Star in Casino Innovation / Software, Rising Star in Sports Betting Innovation / Software along with the new Rising Star in Sports Betting.

Overall, the SBC Awards 2024 means to celebrate success, as they seek to distinguish the industry’s best companies over the past months, and set high standards for excellence across a number of important industry development areas.

This year is the 11th edition of the event, rewarding and celebrating the industry’s best and brightest.
