SBC Summit has no intention of playing catch-up insofar as new technology is concerned, and the upcoming event has confirmed that Randi Zuckerberg, a Facebook veteran and business entrepreneur at the cutting-edge of innovation, will be headlining SBC Summit’s inaugural AI academy.
Zuckerberg will lead the AI Academy, which is incorporated into the Tech Academies initiative rolled out by SBC and SBC Summit for the very first time. The idea behind this innovative space and initiative is to offer delegates the chance to get hands-on experience on crucial developments in tech that directly impact iGaming and the industry in general.
The Tech Academies focus on cutting-edge areas such as AI, Web 3.0 & Blockchain, marketing, and a fourth academy yet to be released by the hosts. The AI Academy itself will be taking place on Tuesday, September 16. Commenting on this initiative, SBC Founder and CEO Rasmus Sojmark had this to add:
"We’ve seen a growing demand from delegates for more hands-on education focused on topics that truly resonate with the industry. AI hasn’t just captured attention; it’s dominated global discourse and is now influencing nearly every aspect of modern business. Including it as part of our Tech Academies was a natural decision."
Before Zuckerberg takes the stage, an opening address will be delivered by ID8 Global Managing Director Jeffrey Haas. Zuckerberg herself will then lead the AMA session: "StAI Ahead: Upleveling Yourself and Your Business with AI."
Zuckerberg will offer her insight readily and offer her unfiltered opinions on how AI can be leveraged to scale business models in the industry and sector. Another prominent panel will be the: "AI & the Law: With Great Power Comes Great Responsibility," which will reunite speakers such as
Other prominent panels include: "Merging AI with BI in a Data-Rich Environment," and "Building Better, Faster & Smarter with AI."
Another season will seek to tackle regulation in "Teaching AI to Understand Compliance: Opportunities, Restrictions, and the Power of Human–AI Collaboration," and the closing session, "How Autonomous Agents Are Disrupting Industries," will discuss the impact on real-time, autonomous AI tools, specifically for the esports and competitive gaming sectors.
Overall, the SBC Summit 2025 is expected to be bigger, more impactful, and more important than ever before, reuniting not only the iGaming and sports betting elite, tackling not only regulatory and responsible gambling issues, but also bringing tech leaders whose products and solutions can shape the entire sector for the better.
SBC Summit 2025 is a must-attend event that will be held at the MEO Arena from September 16-18, 2025.
