Playtech, a global provider of innovative sports betting and gaming solutions, has expanded its reach in two markets at the same time, forming similar alliances with 10bet in both Sweden and the United Kingdom. 10bet is a well-established sports betting operator in both jurisdictions, and it offers various betting markets to more than one million players.
Now, the company is keen to strengthen its operational results and user experience by bolstering its sportsbook platform and product in both Sweden and the United Kingdom. To this end, Playtech will be now the sole provider of the sportsbook platform in the United Kingdom, establishing the company as the de facto go-to choice for sports betting solutions for 10bet and possibly other companies in the future.
Meanwhile, 10bet and Playtech are also navigating the fast-evolving Swedish gambling market, where the supplier is arriving with products such as Playtech Open Platform, Player Management System/IMS, and more to ensure that the operator has access to robust technological offers.
Playtech COO Shimon Akad commented on the partnership and said the company was excited to see both opportunities take place. Having teamed up with 10bet, Playtech will be able to grow its footprint in the United Kingdom, as well as Sweden.
"This partnership is a huge moment for our sportsbook offering, and we are very excited to see what both of these key markets, Sweden, and the UK, bring to Playtech and 10bet. This is only the beginning of our relationship, and the opportunities are endless," Akad added.
10bet spokesperson Yuval Klein was similarly excited about this collaboration and confirmed that the operator was confident in its future success. It’s a win-win situation, Klein said, arguing that consumers will have access to some of the best experiences when it comes to sportsbook platforms, all thanks to Playtech.
Playtech has been enjoying a very strong uptake in its B2B operations owing to regulated markets, with the company determined to continue improving on those financial markers and deliver even stronger performances ahead.
Sweden has also been going through a reregulation of its market with all suppliers now required to obtain specific licensing that allows Spelinspektionen to shutter their operations in cases where the software provided by licensed suppliers is licensed to offshore gambling operators targeting Swedish consumers.
