The leading aggregation platform and NeoGames subsidiary, Pariplay, announced Thursday it secured approval to continue to provide its content to betting and gaming companies within the Swedish regulated gambling market. This became possible thanks to a business-to-business (B2B) supplier license granted from the Swedish Gambling Authority, the Spelinspektionen.
The latest B2B license approval effectively allows Pariplay to continue to provide its solutions and content to customers in the country. It comes during a period of change for the Swedish regulated gambling market.
Starting from July 1, new regulations come into force, requiring gambling content suppliers need to secure a license from the regulator in order to offer their content to operators. Luckily Pariplay secured this license ahead of time, allowing the company to continue its operations without obstructions.
Bogdan Barbacaru, Pariplay's Head of Compliance, shared his excitement in a statement saying: "Our dedication to regulated markets is extremely important, so we're thankful to the Spelinspektionen for granting us a permit that will allow us to continue operating in Sweden." He pointed out: "We're excited to keep growing in the market and strengthen our foothold, both in Sweden and within Europe as a whole."
Thanks to the five-year supplier license, Pariplay will continue to deliver leading games from more than 150 gaming suppliers. The company's wide range of portfolio also includes titles from its in-house studio, Wizard Games, as well as exclusive titles from Fusion and Ignite partners.
The license awarded from Spelinspektionen is also going to help Pariplay strengthen its presence in the country. With that in mind, the company already has active partnerships in Sweden with some of the largest operators and it will continue to supply its offering to them.
Adrian Bailey, Pariplay's Managing Director, commented: "Sweden is a key market for us at Pariplay, so we're thrilled to have obtained our B2B permit in order to continue operating within the country once the new regulations begin."
Last but not least, he said: "We're committed to keep being the leading aggregator in regulated markets, and look forward to continuing to entertain our Swedish players for many years to come."
Earlier this month, the company forged a deal with Ainsworth Game Technology in Canada. That deal saw Pariplay deliver Ainsworth's portfolio of content for the gambling market in Canada. The rollout was facilitated thanks to Pariplay's Fusion aggregation platform, the company revealed. The collaboration marked an important step for Ainsworth as it enabled the company to reach new audiences.
