The leading gaming, hospitality and entertainment company, Hard Rock International (HRI), announced the promotion of Morgan Lexis to the role of Senior Vice President (SVP) of Global Sales.
The promotion will see the executive assume responsibility over the global sales for 35 Hard Rock properties.
Lexis will be in charge of global marketing efforts for meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions (MICE), and manage travel industry sales segments (TIS).
The new SVP of Global Sales will be responsible for the development of sales teams as well as strategies for all new property openings, and this includes the much-anticipated Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas.
Before her promotion to the SPV of Global Sales role, Lexis most recently served as VP of Sales for Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Las Vegas.
Overall, she was part of HRI for four years, but her sales career in the hospitality industry spans more than two decades.
Before joining Hard Rock, Lexis served as VP of Sales at the Mirage Hotel and Casino.
In that role, she managed convention and leisure sales, catering, as well as other services.
Earlier in her career, Lexis held a number of senior-level roles at recognizable Las Vegas resorts, including the Bellagio Resort and Casino, Luxor Hotel and Casino and Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino.
The new SVP of Global Sales spoke with excitement about her promotion, Casino Guru News learned from a press release.

Jeff Hook, HRI’s Chief Operating Officer, was similarly excited.
"Morgan's promotion is a reflection of her remarkable contributions to Hard Rock and her proven ability to create exceptional experiences for our guests," he said.
Moreover, Hook pointed to Lexis’ extensive sales experience and broad knowledge, acknowledging that those skills make her the perfect choice for the elevated role.
In her position as SVP of Global Sales, Lexis will report to Hook.
