  • MGM China posted its Q3 2026 financial results
  • The company hit record revenue and Adjusted EBITDA, the highest of any third quarter
  • While MGM China maintained a healthy financial position during Q3, it also recorded an increase in visitation year-over-year

The leading developer, owner and operator of gaming resorts in the Greater China region, MGM China Holdings Limited, enjoys outstanding financial results.

On Wednesday, the company published its unaudited financial figures, pointing to an all-time high third-quarter result.

MGM China records significant growth

A press release by MGM China reveals that revenue for the three months ended September 30, 2026, increased by nearly 5% year-over-year to HK$8.9bn ($1.13bn).

At the same time, Adjusted EBITDA for Q3 2026 was approximately HK$2.4bn ($305.9m).

Both revenue and Adjusted EBITDA results, MGM China said, marked all-time high figures for any third quarter period.

A breakdown of the total revenue shows that MGM Cotai's revenue in Q3 was HK$5.4bn ($688.2bn), compared to HK$5.1bn ($650m) during the corresponding period in 2025.

At the same time, MGM Macau's revenue increased slightly from HK$3.4bn ($433.3m) in Q3 2025 to HK$3.5bn ($446.1m) during the third quarter of this year.

Adjusted EBITDA for MGM Cotai was HK$1.52bn ($193.7m) compared to HK$1.46bn ($186.1m) in Q3 2025, while MGM Macau's Adjusted EBITDA was HK$865m ($111.2m), below the HK$914m ($116.5m) result from the third quarter in 2025.

Kenneth Feng, MGM China's Chief Executive Officer, commented: "The higher-end market segment continues to drive growth. The positive response to our refurbished products and premium spaces underscores our team's deep understanding of the Macau market and our ability to anticipate our customers' evolving tastes."

The executive pointed to the suite conversion at MGM Cotai, which took place earlier this year, while pointing to another renovation project of approximately 100 suites at MGM Macau, which has already started.

"This initiative will further optimize our assets to enhance competitiveness and solidify the complementary positioning of our portfolio - establishing MGM Macau as the premier venue on the Peninsula and MGM Cotai as the preferred destination for premium travelers," Feng added.

In conclusion, MGM China's boss reaffirmed the company's dedication to supporting the development of Macau as a diversified tourist location that offers world-class amenities.

Visitation increases in Q3, keeps momentum into Q4

According to the company, in Q3 2026, it has "maintained a healthy financial position."

"As of September 30, 2026, the Group had a total liquidity of approximately HK$25.6bn ($3.26bn), comprised of Bank balances and cash and undrawn revolver," the company further wrote.

Besides financial figures, MGM China unveiled data regarding Q3 visitation.

Notably, for the three months ended September 30, 2026, the company's occupancy increased to 94.1%, up from the 93.5% recorded during the same period the prior year.

This positive trend continued into the fourth quarter, with property visitation during the October Golden Week holiday increasing by 10% year-over-year.
