  • MARE BALTICUM Gaming & TECH Summit 2025 changes the format
  • Different rooms are now dedicated to different aspects of the event
  • Groundbreaking workshops and stronger panel audience engagement are key

The MARE BALTICUM Gaming & TECH Summit 2025 is due to take place in Vilnius, Lithuania, on May 26-27, and the hosts of the event have come up with a new way to energize and innovate the format, introducing a slightly different layout for it.

The industry gathering seeks to enhance engagement and personalize learning across key fields such as iGaming, FinTech, AI, and blockchain. Moving forward, the summit is going to opt for a multi-room setup which will allow it to host separate and dedicated content tracks as well as hand-on workshops, creating more synergies between the different parts of traditional gatherings.

The upcoming MARE BALTICUM 2025 will feature 60 expert speakers in this year's edition, and the event was already hailed as an exciting place to be if you have regional interest in those verticals and their impact on iGaming, and beyond. HIPTHER Head of Business and Co-Founder Zoltán Tűndik had this to say on the occasion of the new format release:

"We’re incredibly excited about the 2025 edition of MARE BALTICUM. After years of refining the summit experience, this year marks a bold evolution—not just in content, but in how we engage our community. The new two-room format and the introduction of HIPTHER Academy workshops are just the beginning. We’re also testing something completely new behind the scenes—a method we believe could redefine how conferences deliver value. If it works, it’s going to change everything."

The event now focuses on two parallel content rooms, which will be laid out as follows:

Room 1: Compliance & Regulation Track

This room will be allocated to "legal minds" and regulators, as well as operations professionals. The room will focus on discussing:

  • Regional and EU-level compliance updates
  • Licensing frameworks across the Baltics, Nordics, and beyond
  • Anti-money laundering (AML) strategies
  • Responsible gaming policies and ESG topics

Room 2: Tech, Innovation & Keynote Track

This room will be earmarked for innovations and developments in crucial tech-driven sectors such as fintech, blockchain, and AI. While the iGaming industry is clearly in focus, Room 2 will also address broader technological developments, and bring together multiple sectors. The focal points of the discussions will be:

  • The future of AI and automation
  • Blockchain use cases
  • Fintech innovation
  • Fintech innovation
  • Web3 and decentralized platforms
  • Startups and investment trends
  • Open systems and competition
  • From AI hype back to people-first thinking
  • From AI hype back to people-first thinking
  • Differentiation in product and business

The goal is to offer attendees the opportunity to have a deep dive into various high-impact industries and sectors that are not necessarily tied to a single niche.

MARE BALTICUM 2025 is going a step beyond that as well, with the "secret method" concept showcased during the new event. This focuses on enhancing audience engagement and retention during panels, bringing even more valuable input and discussions.

The HIPTHER Academy Workshops are another core feature of the upcoming event which will provide attendees with hands-on learning experiences, skill development sessions, and deep knowledge transfer, and the issuance of digital diplomas across data protection and cybersecurity in iGaming, building regulatory strategies for new markets, creating future-ready iGaming products, and UX/UI optimization for player engagement.

MARE BALTICUM Gaming & TECH Summit invites all interested shareholders to join this innovative format at the end of May in Vilnius and become a part of the conversation.
