The longest-established and most experienced private independent gaming certification lab in the world, BMM Testlabs, announced a new senior-level promotion. The company revealed that it promoted Julien Pottiez to the role of Vice President of Security of Europe and South America (EURSAM).
The promotion represents a strategic move for the company as it strengthens its EURSAM-facing team. Pottiez initially joined BMM Testlabs back in 2020. At the time, he was appointed to the role of Director of Security Services Delivery. Now, in his new role as VP of Security EURSAM, he will be in charge of strategic security processes related to the market.
Additionally, Pottiez will oversee day-to-day cybersecurity delivery operations for Europe, as well as South America. In his new role, he is expected to leverage his extensive experience and provide vital guidance and advice. As VP of Security EURSAM, Pottiez will report to BMM Testlabs' Executive Vice President EURSAM, Marzia Turrini.
Sharing his excitement, Pottiez explained in a statement: "I am honored for the advancement in my new role and for the trust BMM has placed in me, which fuels my commitment to supporting our teams and partners throughout Europe and South America." He outlined that he has solid experience as an information security auditor and penetration tester.
According to Pottiez, he will leverage this experience in his new role with BMM Testlabs. Finally, he explained: "I am resolved to devote my energies to exceed expectations and contribute to BMM’s growth."
Marzia Turrini, BMM Testlabs' Executive Vice President, EURSAM, was similarly delighted about the senior-level promotion. "I am very proud to have the opportunity to promote another deserving leader at BMM Testlabs," she explained. Turrini acknowledged the strong commitment to security demonstrated by Pottiez. "He is a valued BMM employee, and his extensive experience in security proves that this promotion is well deserved," she added.
Last but not least, Turrini explained: "As Vice President of Security, EURSAM, Julien will oversee day-to-day cybersecurity delivery operations across Europe and South America and develop BMM’s panel of security products and testing solutions."
