The leading third-party lottery app in the US, Jackpocket, announced a senior leadership appointment. The company said Monday that it hired Caitlin Stojanovich to serve as its new Chief of Staff. In her new role, Stojanovich will spearhead Jackpocket's growth by implementing strategic initiatives. She will also collaborate with the senior leadership team and help the company with expanding its products.
Jackpocket explained that as Chief of Staff, Stojanovich will focus on processes related to productivity optimization for the leadership team. What's more, she will be in charge of cross-functional initiatives and help discover business opportunities.
Sharing her excitement, Stojanovich commented in a statement released on August 22, 2022. She said: "It felt like fate that Jackpocket opened a second headquarters in my hometown of Santa Barbara." Jackpocket's new Chief of Staff added that it is a privilege to join the company "at such a pivotal time." Last but not least, Stojanovich outlined: "I look forward to facilitating its continued forward momentum as an innovator in the gaming industry."
Peter Sullivan, Jackpocket's CEO, added that it is thrilling to see Stojanovich join the company's leadership team. Moreover, Sullivan added: "With Caitlin driving alignment, engagement, and continuous improvement across our organization, we're poised to continue our expansion in terms of headcount, geographical footprint, and product offerings."
The company's CEO pointed out that it is exciting to see Jackpocket as the top free application on the App Store during the Mega Millions run. In conclusion, Sullivan predicted further growth for the company soon.
Before joining Jackpocket, Stojanovich was a part of ADS, a military equipment supplier that offers tactical equipment, procurement, logistics and solutions. Overall, she was a part of ADS for 11 years. During her tenure at the military equipment supplier, Stojanovich held leadership roles such as Executive Vice President, Vice President and Director, Strategic Initiatives and Communications, among other management positions.
For a year until 2010, Stojanovich was a part of a Management Development Program for GEICO. Back in 2009, she was also Communications and Public Relations Intern at Project Vote Smart. Stojanovich has an MBA from the University of Notre Dame's Mendoza College of Business. Additionally, she has a BA in Political Science and Business Administration from the University of Arizona.
The recent appointment follows other leadership-level changes announced by Jackpocket earlier this year. Back in March, the company named Tony Vartanian, the founder of Jump Ramp Games, as its new Chief Growth and Revenue Officer. Then, in July, the company hired the iGaming industry veteran John Worthington. Worthington joined Jackpocket as its first-ever Vice President of Interactive Gaming.
