IGT agrees to power Island View Casino Resort with betting technology

The leading global provider of gaming, digital and financial technology solutions, IGT, continues to expand its North American footprint.

This week, the company announced a partnership in Mississippi, teaming up with Island View Casino Resort.

Island View Casino Resort taps into IGT PlaySports

Growing its presence in Mississippi with Island View Casino Resort, IGT agreed to supply its IGT PlaySports retail sports betting technology and services.

As a result, the casino operator will power its two properties at Island View and Beach View Casino Resort in Gulfport.

Leveraging IGT's leading technology, including Trading Advisory Services, Island View Casino Resort will streamline its operations and deliver personalized offers to its customers.

This, in turn, will help elevate the experiences of patrons at the operator's two retail sports betting outlets.

Equally as important, bettors can now place bets on a variety of sports via the IGT PlaySports platform and use self-service betting kiosks.

Only recently, IGT celebrated the 30th anniversary of Wheel of Fortune Slots.

The deal with IGT enhances the betting experiences

Joe Bertolone, IGT's SVP, Sports Betting, spoke with excitement about the latest announcement, Casino Guru News learned from a press release.

"IGT PlaySports and Island View Casino Resort are working together to deliver a world-class sports betting experience that is aligned with local market opportunities and player preferences," he said.

Bertolone highlighted IGT's growing position in the region, outlining that IGT PlaySports continues to grow its portfolio of customers.

"We are uniquely positioned to provide a sports betting offering and advisory services that will engage and retain players and meet Island View's unique needs," the executive said in conclusion.

Peter Smith, Island View Casino Resort's Sportsbook Manager, was similarly delighted.

"This launch with IGT PlaySports propels our ongoing initiative to enhance the sports betting experiences for our patrons," he said.

Moreover, Smith pointed out: "IGT PlaySports' proven technology and experienced trading advisory team will engage patrons in more meaningful ways, while the reliability of the platform will help drive value across our properties."
