ICE World Gaming Forum fleshes out key content themes for 2026

The upcoming ICE World Gaming Forum (WGF) has confirmed its key content themes for the upcoming edition in 2026. Among those are a focus on illegal gambling, land-based casinos, sports betting collaborations, iGaming personalization, lottery technology, innovation bonus abuse, and cyber-attacks. The event is created to represent the world’s premier and most influential gathering for leaders from the global gaming ecosystem, Damien Ashton-Wellman, Conference Manager and Head of Content for ICE Barcelona, said in a statement.

Ashton-Wellman went a step further to extoll the merits of the event and the specific crowd it draws, contributing to its stature:

"This unique event is attended by CEOs, ministers, regulators, and industry associations, all gathering to share knowledge, stimulate debate, and engage with high-level experts on policy, strategy, and new technology.

The content for the 2026 edition of ICE World Gaming Forum has been curated following close collaboration with the industry to identify the threats, opportunities, and hot topics across all verticals and all jurisdictions. In 2025, WGF succeeded in bringing together 1,200 delegates from 79 countries, underlining its reputation for offering the highest-level thought leadership in gaming and the event where the big issues of the day are debated in the process, helping to grow the power of play."

ICE World Gaming Forum is a celebrated part of Clarion Gaming’s flagship event, ICE Barcelona, which also runs alongside iGB Affiliate. The forum is taking place from Monday, January 19, through Wednesday, January 21.
