The leading non-profit organization dedicated to supporting, inspiring and influencing the development and growth of women in gaming, Global Gaming Women (GGW), announced changes to its senior-level team.
Notably, the industry non-profit organization confirmed it selected Siobhan Lane for the role of President and Board Chair.
In addition to her role at GGW, Lane is also Group Chief Executive Officer of Gaming at Light & Wonder, Inc.
Before her appointment as President and Board Chair, Lane held the position of 1st Vice President, a role she will vacate assuming her new position.
The role Lane will vacate will be filled by the experienced gaming industry executive, Brandi Ellis, who was previously 2nd Vice President.
On the other hand, the 2nd Vice President role at Global Gaming Women will be taken by Adriana Kasunic, who is also employed as the Vice President, People Operations at The Venetian Resort Las Vegas.
In addition, the Vice President of Finance at Seminole Casino Hotel Immokalee, Julie Woodruff, will assume the role of Board Secretary, a position Kasunic would vacate upon assuming the 2nd Vice President role.
Lane spoke with excitement about the latest announcement, Casino Guru News learned from a press release.
"GGW's mission to support, inspire, and influence the development of women in the gaming industry began thanks to its founders' vision and commitment, which I am excited to champion in my role as President and Chair of the Board of Directors," the upcoming President and Board Chair explained.
Finally, Lane pointed out: "Outgoing GGW President Lauren Bates brought the organization to new heights, and I extend my immense appreciation to her for positioning the organization for continued success."
While the senior-level appointments announced by GGW came this week, the organization confirmed the executives will assume their respective roles, effective January 1, 2026.
They will retain their positions for a two-year term until 2028.
