The leading iGaming technology company, offering services, solutions and products to gambling operators across the globe, Gaming Innovation Group (GiG), announced a new partnership, helping it expand its position in an important European market. The company confirmed it joined forces with the leading land-based casino and online gambling operator in Switzerland, Grand Casino Basel.

Teaming up with the operator marked an important achievement for the company, considering that it marks the debut of GiG's services and solutions which will power the operator's offering within the Swiss online market. Under the terms of the new collaboration, Grand Casino Basel's current online business, Golden Grand Casino, will be migrated to GiG's leading platform.

Across the globe, GiG is renowned for its quality software and solutions. The company offers a wide range of innovative solutions for iGaming operators, including DataX, its tool that helps with decision making, LogicX, its advanced machine learning toolkit and its revolutionary CoreX platform.

Ultimately, GiG's iGaming solutions are driven by cutting-edge technology and innovation, making them a perfect fit for online gambling operators across the globe. Those leading solutions have already proven their effectiveness when it comes to compliance and revenue growth.

Kai Laepple, Grand Casino Basel's Chief Executive Officer, revealed in a statement that the company is excited to join forces with GiG. "We are pleased to announce that we have partnered with GiG, a highly experienced platform provider for the burgeoning Swiss online casino market," he added. Finally, Laepple pointed out: "We anticipate a promising partnership ahead and are confident in our joint success."

GiG's Chief Business Officer, Andrew Cochrane, was just as thrilled, adding that the partnership with Grand Casino Basel marks an exciting moment for the company. He explained that thanks to the new deal, the operator will transition its online casino to CoreX, GiG's powerful platform. Last but not least, Cochrane pointed out: "The combination of their established and popular brand, with our proven expertise at delivering highly successful digital operations, provides a great opportunity to drive value and growth in the attractive Swiss online market."

The expansion of GiG in Switzerland doesn't come as a surprise, considering the potential of the gambling sector in the country. Currently, to offer online gambling services, operators need to team up with a land-based casino license.

This regulatory framework holds significant opportunities, according to industry experts. H2 Gambling Data confirms such positive predictions, forecasting growth of the online gambling market in the country by 30% year-over-year up to €440m in GGR until the end of this year.
