In a statement released by GAN, Chang shared his excitement, thanking the company's Chief Executive Officer, Seamus McGill and the Board of Directors for their confidence and trust. "I look forward to the opportunity to continue to lead our finance team toward a successful closing of our merger with Sega Sammy," he added.
McGill was just as excited about the latest senior-level appointment. "Brian is a highly capable financial leader and has been an important member of the team since 2021," explained the CEO. Last but not least, McGill said: "I’d like to congratulate Brian on his appointment, and I look forward to a continued good working relationship with him."
David Goldberg, the chairman of GAN's Board of Directors, congratulated Chang on his appointment as permanent CFO. He spoke about the executive's experience, outlining that he proved his leadership while holding the interim CFO role. Goldberg said that Chang has the full support of GAN's board. Last but not least, he said: "Brian’s proven leadership amongst the financial team and strong knowledge of accounting and financial controls leave us confident that he is the right person to guide us to a successful close of our merger with Sega Sammy."
