The newly debuted luxury resort and casino, Fontainebleau Las Vegas, celebrated New Year's Eve with its inaugural festivities, including performances in New York, as well as Las Vegas. Entering 2024, the luxury resort and casino celebrated the opening of its members-only club and organized bi-costal live performances by Paul Anka and Post Malone.
Warming up the crowd of Fontainebleau Las Vegas' New Year's Eve celebration at BleauLive Theater in Las Vegas was Jesse Jo Stark, an American pop musician from Los Angeles, California. The exciting performance preceded the headliner of the evening, the globally recognizable and GRAMMY Award-nominated superstar, Post Malone.
While on stage, the superstar performed some of his most popular hits, including "I Like You," "Wow," and "Congratulations," among others. His appearance marked the second sold-out night at the BleauLive Theater. In a statement released by Fontainebleau Las Vegas, Post Malone thanked the crowd for their exceptional energy. "It's New Year's Eve ladies and gentlemen and I just want to say I love you so much. There's so much love in this building tonight," he said.
Singing along with the crowd, Malone invited his father on stage for the countdown to the New Year. Fans of the superstar that were not able to attend in person for his debut at Fontainebleau Las Vegas can also watch a part of his performance at BleauLive Theater on "Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2024."
Across the US, in New York City, Fontainebleau Las Vegas joined the celebration at Times Square. Paul Anka, the legendary singer, performing on New Year's Eve in front of hundreds of thousands of people at Times Square helped elevate the excitement and thrill, singing hit songs like John Lennon's "Imagine" and his signature hit "My Way."
Jeffrey Soffer, Fontainebleau Development Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, commented on the topic: "From the Strip to Times Square and beyond, Fontainebleau is leading the world into a new year and the dawn of a new era for our iconic brand." Finally, he explained: "We are so proud to bring people together in a collective celebration of style, luxury, endless possibilities, and 70 years of Fontainebleau."
Throughout Fontainebleau Las Vegas, a wide range of festive activities including live entertainment helped bring thrill and excitement for its guests. The luxury casino and resort celebrated the opening of its members-only club, Poodle Room. Commemorating the opening, Fontainebleau Las Vegas organized a surprise performance Janelle Monáe.
