The premier online gaming company in North America, FanDuel, confirmed a new agreement, extending its position in women's sports.

Professional Women's Hockey League and FanDuel sign new agreement

The company confirmed last week it forged a new alliance with the Professional Women's Hockey League (PWHL).

Under the terms of the fresh collaboration, FanDuel was designated as an Official Sportsbook Partner of the PWHL.

In addition, the popular betting and gaming company was named In-app Streaming Partner of the League in the United States.

Under the terms of the new collaboration, hockey fans will benefit from unmatched access to the PWHL.

Throughout the regular season, FanDuel will be streaming up to 90 games, including the playoffs via its popular mobile app.

This will grant hockey fans the ability not only to watch but to wager as well.

Throughout the season, hockey fans and bettors alike will benefit from a range of player prop bets, Same Game Parlays, as well as novelty markets via FanDuel's mobile app.

The collaboration includes real-world experiences with FanDuel expecting to play a major role during PWHL games.

FanDuel is proud to partner with the PWHL

It's no surprise that the recognizable betting and gaming company supports responsible play.

FanDuel will encourage PWHL fans and bettors to use some of its comprehensive responsible gambling tools.

Currently, the recognizable betting operator offers different limits, including betting and deposit limits, timeouts and other features that help gamblers better control their wagering.

"With this collaboration, FanDuel reinforces its leadership as the best sportsbook for fans to engage with their favorite teams and athletes, bringing them closer to the action and women's hockey than ever before," reads a statement released by FanDuel.

Dale Hooper, FanDuel Canada's General Manager, also commented on the topic.

"FanDuel is proud to partner with the PWHL and support the league's incredible athletes," explained the executive.

Finally, Hooper pointed out: "This partnership is about creating a new era of fan engagement—one that brings hockey closer to fans while helping grow the visibility of women's professional sports."

Recently, FanDuel made it to news headlines after securing recognition from the 2024 American Gambling Awards.

Back in October, the recognizable betting company in North America won the prestigious Online Sportsbook of the Year award from the event.

The 2024 American Gambling Awards recognition for FanDuel comes in addition to its leadership position in the regulated gambling sector in the United States.

The prestigious award marked the third such recognition for the company from the American Gambling Awards.
