The provider of solutions, content, services and iGaming software, powering sports betting, casino and affiliate management operators, EveryMatrix, announced it secured an important security certification from the World Lottery Association (WLA). The company revealed on Tuesday that it secured Security Control Standard 2020 (WLA-SCS:2020) Level 2 certification. This made EveryMatrix one of the few business-to-business technology providers to hold such distinction currently.

To secure the prestigious certification, EveryMatrix has undergone an extensive and rigorous audit by GLI. The company's sports betting, iGaming, as well as iLottery platforms were assessed as a part of this audit to ensure compliance with the standards set by the WLA. Upon completion of the assessment of EveryMatrix's platforms, "no non-conformities were found," a statement released by the company reveals.

Overall, there are 21 different controls for lottery technology suppliers under the WLA-SCS:2020 Level 2 standard. Those involve controls related to security, privacy, as well as the use of cloud hosting for lottery gaming systems. Securing the certification is a significant achievement for EveryMatrix, given that WLA-SCS Level 2 is known as the most comprehensive and complete certification standard applicable for sports betting and lottery suppliers and operators.

Throughout its 15-year history, the company has won different agreements with European Lotteries, as well as the WLA. Moreover, EveryMatrix has established deals with the National Lottery in Malta, Norway's Norsk Tipping, OPAP in Greece as well as Finland's Veikkaus. But one of the biggest contracts for EveryMatrix was the one with Szerencsejáték, the Hungarian gaming and lottery operator.

Besides the latest WLA-SCS Level 2 certification, the company also holds ISO 20000 as well as ISO 27001 certification. Those certifications reaffirm EveryMatrix's dedication to delivering solid technology that stands out with reliability, quality and security.

Ebbe Groes, the company's CEO, shared his excitement about the recent certification from the WLA. "Security is a top priority for EveryMatrix and achieving compliance with this rigorous standard is proof positive of our commitment to our existing and future WLA customers," he said.

The news about the certification from the WLA come after recently, EveryMatrix expanded its presence in Nigeria via a collaboration with KingMakers' betting brand, BetKing. Per the deal, announced in mid-May, the company's CasinoEngine has gone live, powering BetKing.

Ultimately, the collaboration seeks to help the brand expand further within the market. At the same time, it boosts the reach of EveryMatrix's leading platform and expands its global footprint.
