Louisiana's largest casino resort, Coushatta Casino Resort, will soon grow its offering with the opening of its new and highly anticipated hotel tower.
Set to open its doors in May, the new hotel tower will increase the resort's inventory to more than 1,000 guest rooms.
On Monday, the Coushatta Tribe of Louisiana, the owner and operator of Coushatta Casino Resort, confirmed that the new eight-story hotel expansion will introduce an extra 204 guest rooms, as well as 100 luxury suites.
The expansion will blend seamlessly with the existing infrastructure, directly connecting to the existing resort and amenities such as the casino floor, dining and entertainment outlets and other areas.
The addition of the new hotel tower at Coushatta Casino Resort highlights the resort's sustained growth trajectory.
After opening in 1995, the venue has become the largest hotel and casino resort in Louisiana.
Besides attracting visitors from across the state, Coushatta Casino Resort draws guests from Texas and nearby states, making it a go-to location.
The announcement about the upcoming opening of the hotel tower comes on the heels of a senior-level appointment by Coushatta Casino Resort.
Earlier this month, the casino resort confirmed the appointment of Tanya Duhon to the role of permanent CFO.
Nate Tanner, Coushatta Casino Resort's General Manager, highlighted the importance of the new hotel tower, Casino Guru News learned from a press release.
"This expansion reflects the continued vision and long-term investment in the future of Coushatta Casino Resort," he said.
Moreover, Tanner pointed out: "For more than three decades, Coushatta has served as an economic engine for our region. This new hotel tower strengthens our ability to welcome more guests, create new jobs and enhance the overall resort experience for years to come."
In May, a formal grand ceremony will commemorate the opening of the new development.
Tribal leaders, development partners and resort executives, along with representatives of the firms that collaborated with the design and construction of the new hotel tower, will join the exciting ceremony.
Only recently, Coushatta Casino Resort hired Britton Pruett for the role of Director of Food and Beverage.
