Clarion Gaming is set to introduce Academia America Latina, a free-to-attend seminar at the upcoming ICE Barcelona, which will take place at 11:00 am – 3 pm on Wednesday, January 21, 2026.

The seminar is an entry-level initiative designed to equip delegates with a quick, albeit thorough understanding of emerging and established Latin American iGaming and betting markets. The seminar will be conducted in Spanish and Portuguese, and it brings together influential government representatives, association partners, legal experts, and exhibitors.

Commenting on this new initiative, Clarion Gaming Head of LatAm Liaison, Liliana Costa, said:

"Industry professionals attending Academia América Latina will gain a strategic overview of the key opportunities and dynamics shaping Latin America’s gaming markets. We’ll explore entry requirements, market expansion strategies, and share intelligence from leading operators and government stakeholders. Our aim is to encourage dialogue, strengthen regulatory frameworks, and provide opportunities for the LatAm market to engage with global peers

By fostering economic cooperation, promoting innovation, and bringing together the right mix of stakeholders, including regulators, operators, and gaming innovators, we will be helping to bridge the gap between Latin America and the rest of the world using the platform provided by what is the industry’s biggest and most influential gaming technology event

We are committed to building strong, strategic relationships that will help grow a sustainable LatAm industry."

The seminar will focus on a range of important markets in the region, among which are Peru, Colombia, Argentina, PuertoRico, Panama, and Ecuador. The markets will be addressed in their entirety and across key topics, such as combating illegal gambling, sports integrity, as well as offering guidance on how to build resilient business models, particularly in Brazil.

The seminar is broken down into multiple discussions, with each lasting 40 minutes, and is designed to equip attendees and delegates with actionable insight they can put to good use immediately.
