Christopher Shaban named Managing Director iLottery at NeoGames

The leading technology-driven provider of end-to-end iLottery and iGaming solutions, NeoGames S.A, announced an important senior-level appointment. The company confirmed earlier this week that it appointed the seasoned expert with nearly three decades of experience within the lottery industry, Christopher Shaban. In his new role with NeoGames, the expert was appointed as Managing Director, iLottery.

As Managing Director, iLottery at NeoGames, Shaban is expected to oversee the company's entire iLottery operations. The immediate appointment comes at a time when the company is approaching the final phase of its acquisition by Aristocrat. The landmark acquisition is expected to be closed at some point during the second quarter of the fiscal year 2024.

The latest senior-level appointment supports NeoGames' organizational restructuring ahead of the closing of the acquisition. Besides overseeing the iLottery activities of the company, Shaban is expected to play a key role in expanding the company's global footprint.

His strategic guidance will play a key role in partnerships with new businesses and the overall expansion of NeoGames' innovative iLottery solution. Additionally, Shaban will also be in charge of the company's in-house game studio, NeoGames Studio.

The new Managing Director, iLottery shared his excitement in a statement. "It has been a few wonderful years with NeoGames and I am excited to continue in this new role as Managing Director, iLottery," Shaban revealed. Finally, he pointed out: "Working together with the extremely talented people in our company, we are poised to expand our efforts under Aristocrat to best support our global lottery customers on their interactive journey."

Moti Malul, NeoGames' Chief Executive Officer, was just as thrilled about the latest C-suite appointment. "Chris is hugely respected within the lottery industry and his track record speaks for itself," he revealed. In conclusion, Malul said: "I am thrilled about his appointment and look forward to seeing him drive us forward in our iLottery business."

Overall, Shaban brings extensive knowledge and a deep understanding of the gambling sector. He has more than 27 years of experience within the lottery industry across the globe. Back in 2021, Shaban became a part of NeoGames. At the time, he was appointed to the role of EVP Global Business and Customer Development for the company's iLottery operations.
