Christian Erlandson joins Vixio as Chair of the Board

Regulatory intelligence solutions provider Vixio strengthened its time with a fresh appointment.

On Wednesday, the company confirmed in a press release that it appointed Christian Erlandson to the key role of Chair of its Board.

Assuming the new role, effective immediately, Erlandson succeeds Gehan Talwatte, who was in the Chair role for two years.

The newly appointed executive brings solid experience, spanning more than three decades.

Erlandson is a proven leader with extensive executive experience and has solid knowledge of strategic transformations.

Appointing him to the role of Chair of its Board, Vixio prepares for further growth and long-term success.

While Erlandson will be a part of the company's Board, he will continue to serve as CEO of TNW (a Financial Times Company) and retain his advisor role at Spotlio.

Back in December 2022, the European private equity investor, Perwyn, acquired Vixio in an effort to propel the company's growth, expanding its reach and product offering.

Following this plan, Vixio has been growing its global footprint, delivering quality solutions and engaging with new customers.

Now, with Erlandson part of the company's management team, Vixio is expected to maintain this growth trajectory.

Undoubtedly, the executive's deep understanding of the sector and leadership experience will play a key role not only in achieving short-term but in reaching long-term goals.

The executive is honored to join Vixio

Gurinder Sunner, a Partner at Perwyn, shared his excitement about the latest appointment.

"Christian's exceptional track record of driving growth and delivering value to stakeholders makes him the perfect leader to guide Vixio into its next phase of success," the executive predicted.

Erlandson was equally as excited, revealing that it is an honor for him to join Vixio as the company's new Chair.

Mike Woolfrey, Vixio's CEO, welcomed Erlandson to the company's executive-level team and thanked Talwatte for his dedication and contributions over the last two years as Chair.

"Christian's extensive leadership experience, strategic vision, and commitment to fostering innovation will be instrumental as we continue to strengthen our position as a leader in the RegTech market," the CEO added.

Spanning over 30 years, Erlandson's experience includes many leadership roles.

Notably, he held the role of CEO at Dun & Bradstreet UK, and the position of Chief Commercial Officer at GfK.

Throughout his professional career, Erlandson was also part of Automotive Transformation Group as CEO and held a Managing Director role at Thomson Reuters, among other important appointments.
