The premier mobile gaming company with a solid presence across the United States, FanDuel, strengthened its C-suite with a fresh addition.

Earlier this week, Flutter's subsidiary revealed it hired the services of Caralyn Cooley, an executive with solid experience in human resources, talent and people management.

Joining FanDuel, she was appointed to the role of Chief People Officer (CPO), a statement reveals.

In her new role, Cooley becomes a part of the company's Executive Leadership Team (ELT), and she will report directly to FanDuel's CEO, Amy Howe.

Taking on the role of CPO, the executive will oversee the company's people strategy and ensure its alignment with the operator's growth trajectory.

Cooley's responsibilities will include talent acquisition, human resources and shaping the company's culture.

Moreover, she will be in charge of the diversity, equity and inclusion efforts at FanDuel, while also playing a key role in the development programs for employees, as well as learning and training capabilities.

Overall, the new CPO's efforts are expected to be instrumental for the company's future growth, the development of its workforce and its Casino, Sports and Operations units.

The executive brings a wide range of skills, solid knowledge and experience

Cooley holds a Master's Degree in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University.

In addition, she has a Bachelor of Science in Human Resource Management from the State University of New York-Oswego.

FanDuel's new CPO is a proven expert with a track record and has held important senior-level roles throughout her career.

Notably, Cooley was most recently employed by the US vertical farming company, Bowery Farming.

During that time, she held the role of Executive Vice President and Chief People Officer.

While Cooley was a part of Bowery Farming, the company grew from a proof-of-concept farm with a single location to one of the largest vertical farming companies in the country.

As Senior Vice President and Chief People Officer, Cooley played a strategic role by helping build a strong team that played a key role in Bowery Farming's expansion.

Besides Bowery Farming, the experienced executive was also a part of Nordeus.

She held the role of Chief People Officer at the company between 2017 and 2019.

Amy Howe, FanDuel's CEO, shared her excitement and welcomed Cooley to the company's growing team.

"Throughout her distinguished career Caralyn has held global roles building highly effective people teams that drive performance and reflect the needs of today's diverse corporate culture," explained the executive.

Last but not least, Howe outlined: "Her energy and passion for sports and the gaming sector made her an ideal fit, and her arrival strengthens our executive leadership team."
