The Canadian Gaming Summit, due to take place on June 17-19 at the Metro Toronto Convention Center and organized by SBC Events, is due to take a new focus with the introduction of the Cybesecurity Symposium.
As global companies face various cybersecurity threats, the Canadian Gaming Summit wants to prove itself the right platform for industry stakeholders to discuss this pressing issue.
Commenting on the upcoming event and the comprehensive 360-degree approach the Canadian Gaming Summit has adopted, SBC Founder and CEO Rasmus Sojmark had this to add:
"The Canadian Gaming Summit continues to evolve as the premier gathering for industry leaders across the country. With dynamics shifting and new opportunities emerging, this year’s event will provide a vital platform for meaningful discussions that shape the future of gaming in Canada. From the latest innovations to critical policy debates, we’re bringing together the brightest minds to drive the industry forward."
The upcoming summit will reunite more than 3,000 industry professionals, 200 affiliates, 150 experts, and 75 exhibitors, with the Cybersecurity Symposium diving into some of the most pressing threats faced by the industry.
To this end, the event will draw regulators, cybersecurity experts, and operators, and provide them with a platform to discuss, address, and share information about the challenges that the industry faces today with an emphasis on digital threats of any nature.
With the number of digital threats rising, the event organizers have found it appropriate to address the issue head-on and provide stakeholders with the means to protect themselves. In addition, this year’s edition of the event will also incorporate the Player Protection Symposium directly into the core agenda of the summit, rather than having it as a pre-event as it had previously.
SBC Events is committed to helping industry stakeholders find their way through the increasingly complex world of online and land-based gambling, with cybersecurity threats in particular targeting both types of entities with unprecedented intensity, success, and doggedness.
