The global leader in innovative lottery content, solutions and technology, Brightstar Lottery PLC, reaffirmed its dedication to responsible gambling.
Earlier this week, the company announced it has once again secured the Internet Compliance Assessment Program (iCAP) Ready accreditation from the National Council on Problem Gambling (NCPG).
The prestigious certification distinguishes Brightstar Lottery’s iLottery operations and highlights its focus on responsible gaming and player protection.
To obtain the NCPG iCAP Ready certification, the company has gone through a comprehensive compliance assessment.
The analysis and assessment of Brightstar Lottery’s iLottery operations was completed by a third-party company on behalf of the NCPG.
Ultimately, the accreditation is a testament that Brightstar Lottery can deliver safer gambling practices to players as a supplier.
The first time the company obtained the iCAP Ready certification was back in 2024.
Wendy Montgomery, Brightstar Lottery’s Senior Vice President Branding, Communications and Sustainability, shared her excitement about the latest milestone, Casino Guru News learned from a press release.
"We are proud to receive iCAP Ready accreditation again for our iLottery business, and it is especially meaningful to do so for the first time as a pure play lottery business," she explained.
Moreover, Montgomery pointed out: "This achievement is a testament to Brightstar's comprehensive responsible gaming processes and practices and our commitment to protecting our employees, customers and players across the globe."
The iCAP Ready accreditation is based on the original iCAP and designed specifically for gaming operations.
The U.S. accreditation program recognizes gaming suppliers that demonstrate dedication to setting and upholding a responsible gambling standard across products and services.
Through the iCAP Ready certification, which is supported by the NCPG, best practices are utilized for the protection of players and the development of responsible gaming policies.
