The leading gaming, hospitality and entertainment company, operating more than two dozen properties across the United States, Boyd Gaming Corporation, released its second quarter financial results.

Q2 revenue on par year-over-year

During the three months ended June 30, 2026, the company posted strong revenue, highlighting the benefits of its diversified business model, while also returning capital to shareholders.

In a press release, Boyd Gaming confirmed that the total revenue reported in Q2 2026 was $1.03bn, a result that was on par compared to the corresponding quarter the prior year.

A breakdown of the $1.03bn in revenue shows solid performance by the company’s gaming segment.

This isn’t surprising and judging by the result, gaming revenue hit $683m, marking an increase compared to the $671m result from Q2 2025.

Food and beverage, as well as room revenues in Q2 2026, were on par year-over-year at $77.7m and $50.4, respectively.

Still, the revenue from Boyd Gaming’s online segment recorded a decrease, halting to $31.8m, down from $39.1m in Q2 last year.

In Q2 this year, the company posted a total Adjusted EBITDAR of $350.5m, compared to $357.9m for the same period in 2025.

Boyd Gaming’s net income in Q2 2026 was $131.2m, or $1.75 per share, compared to $151.5m, or $1.84 per share for the same period the prior year.

Latest results highlight Boyd Gaming’s growth and diversified model

Keith Smith, Boyd Gaming’s President and Chief Executive Officer, commented: "Our second-quarter results demonstrated the benefits of our diversified business model, with strong performances from our Midwest & South operations, Online segment and Managed business."

Moreover, the executive pointed out: "Results for the quarter, on a comparable basis, reflect both revenue and Adjusted EBITDAR growth, with property operating margins of 40%, a level we have consistently delivered over the last several years."

Smith acknowledged that the company made substantial return to shareholders of more than $170m in dividends and share repurchases in Q2, 2026.

"With our strong balance sheet, efficient operating model and robust free cash flow, our Company is well-positioned to continue creating long-term shareholder value," the executive said in conclusion.

Last month, Boyd Gaming added George Roeth and Stacia Andersen to its Board of Directors.
