Boyd Gaming Corporation, the leading operator with nearly three dozen gaming and entertainment properties in 11 U.S. states, bolsters its senior-level team with new appointments.
On Thursday, the company announced it added the seasoned executives, George C. Roeth and Stacia J. Andersen, to its Board of Directors.
The two executives bring decades of experience to the Board of Directors at Boyd Gaming.
Notably, Roeth has accumulated significant knowledge and hands-on experience after holding various marketing and executive-level roles in the last 27 years.
His background includes C-suite positions at The Clorox Company, including roles as co-Chief Operating Officer, among others.
Before joining the Board of Directors at Boyd Gaming, Roeth formerly served as the Chief Executive Officer of the leading publicly trading company in pet and garden supplies, Central Garden and Pet.
Moreover, he currently holds the role of Executive Advisor at Gryphon Investors Inc., which is a private investment firm that manages more than $10bn in assets.
Roeth is also the Lead Director of Oil-Drilling Corporation of America.
On the other hand, Andersen also brings decades of senior-level experience.
Before becoming part of the Board of Directors at Boyd Gaming, she held the role of Executive Vice President and Chief Customer Officer at the leading pet supply retailer, PetSmart LLC.
Prior to her career at PetSmart which started in 2019, Andersen held the role of President at Abercrombie & Fitch.
Anderson’s professional background includes a two-decade-long career at Target Corporation.
Currently, she also serves on the Board of Directors at the leading footwear manufacturing company, Wolverine World Wide.
Earlier this year, Boyd Gaming posted strong first quarter results, starting 2026 on a high note.
