Boca Juniors and Betsson confirm partnership renewal

The globally recognizable online casino and sports betting operator, Betsson, announced a partnership extension with Latin America's most popular international club, Boca Juniors.

Betsson will continue to be the team's main sponsor

Initially, the two joined forces back in 2023. However, on Monday this week, they confirmed a renewal of their agreement.

Under the renewed deal, Betsson will continue its successful collaboration with Boca Juniors through the end of 2028.

As a result, the company will retain its position as a main sponsor of the famous international club.

In addition, Betsson will keep its spot at the front of the jerseys of the team until the end of the agreement.

Maximiliano Bellio, Betsson's Country Manager for Argentina, shared his excitement about the new deal in a statement.

"From the start, Boca’s leadership, especially Juan Román Riquelme, has shown great professionalism in working with us," he revealed.

The executive added that the partnership renewal reaffirms the company's dedication to supporting football across Latin America and expanding its footprint.

"With over 60 years of expertise, Betsson brings security and experience, and we are dedicated to promoting responsible gaming while enhancing the entertainment experience for legal-age fans," Riquelme said in conclusion.

Jesper Svensson, the CEO of Betsson Operations, was similarly delighted with the new agreement.

Speaking about the initial deal the company inked with Boca Juniors, the executive said that it marked a milestone moment in Betsson's expansion in the region.

"We have always admired the rich history and legacy of Boca Juniors, and we are truly honored to continue supporting this extraordinary club," Svensson added.

Finally, the executive said that the deal not only enhances the company's footprint in the region but also helps it to engage with new audiences across the globe.

Juan Roman Riquelme, Boca Juniors' president and former professional football player from Argentina, added that the club is delighted to continue its collaboration with Betsson.

He spoke about the time the duo initially joined forces, saying that the latest renewal reaffirms the success of their agreement.
