BetBlocker has had two recent milestones to celebrate with the charity focused on helping players receive problem gambling assistance and a path to recovery in their native tongues.
At the Signature Awards at the Park Lane Hilton in London, United Kingdom, on Friday, September 25, BetBlocker announced additional language support for its eponymous tool, adding two new languages.
Acting as a charity partner to the event, BetBlocker also used the occasion to share that the charity had surpassed half a million active users in 2026, demonstrating the tool’s reach and the help it has been providing to vulnerable and at-risk consumers.
In the same stride, BetBlocker confirmed that it has reached more than 10,000 active customers in both India and the Netherlands in 2026.
As uptake of BetBlocker’s tool in India continues, the charity has announced the launch of language support in Hindi and Punjabi, further strengthening the charity’s commitment to helping local players and staying true to what it has always done - bringing the support people need in their mother tongues regardless of their geography.
Duncan Garvie, CEO of BetBlocker, was excited and spoke on the night of the awards, highlighting the significance of the Signature Awards and also delving deeper into BetBlocker’s own recent achievements and the broader impact thereof.
"At the start of 2026, we had no idea how rapid the growth in uptake of BetBlocker would be, and our hope for the full year was to be able to pass 400k users. Being able to announce passing half a million users supported in 2026 in September has exceeded our most optimistic hopes and evidences how widespread the need for this type of support is," Garvie shared.
Earlier in September, BetBlocker teamed up with the Massachusetts Gaming Commission to launch support in Vietnamese and Chineselanguages, two more hallmarks of the charity’s commitment to reach and help people struggling with their gambling no matter where they are and no matter what language they speak.
BetBlocker has gone even further in its commitment to assisting players by hoping to educate operators on how to handle self-exclusion more effectively through the Advanced Insights: Self-Exclusion Best Practice course launched by Casino Guru Academy.
