BetBlocker teams up with MGC for Chinese and Vietnamese language support

• BetBlocker has expanded its support for different languages to Chinese and Vietnamese with support from the Massachusetts gambling regulator

• Players in the language groups now have an anonymous and free way to exclude and start their recovery journey

BetBlocker has teamed up with the Massachusetts Gaming Commission (MGC) to provide support in simplified Chinese, traditional Chinese, and Vietnamese, perpetuating the organization’s commitment to helping communities in their native tongues no matter where they are based.

BetBlocker expands language support, seeks to aid more groups

BetBlocker will deliver a self-exclusion tool that is designed to specifically target the aforementioned language speakers and allow them to gain further control over their gambling habits. The MGC has supported BetBlocker’s efforts in delivering this solution, as the regulator also sees a targeted approach to vulnerable communities as the right path forward.

BetBlocker remains convinced that the only way to truly prevent gambling-related harm is to reach out to the communities and people that are experiencing it and do so in their native tongue.

The watchdog has also agreed that this is the case, with half of the Bay State’s population speaking a mother tongue that is not English, and Vietnamese and Chinese are important parts of that offer. BetBlocker already has options in Spanish and Portuguese, making it an even more reliable partner in helping consumers self-exclude and receive aid in the target language.
